Li-Ion batteries are very energy efficient despite their size, making them ideal for airsoft rifles that don't have much battery space. They do not have the so-called "memory effect" that you find in many other types of batteries. This means they can (and should) be charged frequently and it goes not beyond the quality of the battery in a negative way.

Note: To avoid shortening the life of the battery, you should charge it frequently. It self-discharges by around 8% (depending on temperature). It is important that the battery is not completely discharged or overcharged as this will damage the battery cells.
