SIG Sauer ProForce 1911 TACOPS – Tactical perfection from SIG Air
SIG Sauer ProForce 1911 TACOPS (Tactical Operations) is not just an airsoft pistol; it’s a professional training replica designed to match the real firearm in weight, balance, and function. With its robust full-metal construction, powerful CO2 operation, and modern tactical upgrades, this 1911 model delivers one of the most authentic shooting experiences available to airsoft enthusiasts.
Store tip: This is a “Gas Blowback” (GBB) model powered by CO2. The heavy metal slide delivers extremely crisp recoil that you can feel throughout your arm. Since it was developed by SIG Sauer themselves as part of the ProForce series, the tolerances are very tight. We recommend regularly lubricating the slide rails and nozzle with silicone oil. The CO2 operation allows it to maintain its power even when temperatures drop, making it a reliable sidearm all year round.
Full-metal and professional construction
As part of SIG Sauer’s own ProForce line, this pistol is built to strict specifications. The frame and slide are made of heavy-duty metal with a durable finish. It features all the tactical characteristics of the TACOPS series, including an integrated 21mm Picatinny rail under the barrel for mounting a light or laser, and an extended threaded barrel for a suppressor or tracer unit (thread protector included).
Modern ergonomics and control
The pistol is equipped with textured grip panels that provide maximum control in all conditions. It features a skeletonized trigger and hammer for a faster response, as well as an ambidextrous manual safety that makes it easy to operate for both right- and left-handed shooters. Just like the real-steel version, it has a functioning “beavertail” grip safety that requires a proper grip before the pistol can be fired. The slide locks in the rear position when the magazine is empty, of course.
