SIG SAUER P229 CO2-powered air pistol with blowback. Full metal, optics ready, and super realistic.
This CO2-powered SIG SAUER P229 model with blowback is a high-quality air pistol that shoots 4.5 mm pellets, made by SIG SAUER itself and built to provide the most realistic experience possible. You get the right weight, balance, and controls, along with a blowback mechanism that delivers a clear recoil impulse and an authentic “semi-auto” feel. A solid choice for technique training, precision shooting, and outdoor plinking.
Shoots both BBs and pellets
The pistol can be used with 4.5 mm steel BBs and diabolo pellets, making it flexible for different types of shooting. The magazine uses rotating disks and is rated for 16 shots (the same magazine as the P226 model).
Blowback and full metal construction
Full metal construction provides realistic weight and excellent durability. The blowback makes the slide move backward with every shot, adding more life to shooting and creating a more realistic feel.
Optics-ready slide and Picatinny rail
The P229 model is optics-ready and prepared for the SIG AIR Reflex Sight or other compatible sights (sold separately). There is also a 21 mm Picatinny rail underneath the front for mounting compatible accessories such as lasers and lights.
Smart CO2 solution and functional controls
The pistol uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge and features SIG’s patented cam-lever system, making cartridge changes quick and tool-free. It also has a functional decocker and DA/SA trigger for more realistic operation.
Rifled barrel and suppressor compatibility
The P229 has a rifled barrel for excellent accuracy and M14x1 CCW muzzle threads with a thread protector for mounting a suppressor.
