If you’re not getting any effect when adjusting the hop-up, the rubber may be worn out and need replacing. Correct hop-up adjustment for the FPS is important to ensure the BB grips the rubber properly.
This Prometheus rubber is a soft type that works well for rifles shooting under 400 FPS. If the rifle shoots over 400 FPS, we recommend a harder hop-up rubber.
We especially recommend this rubber for rifles with a high rate of fire and under 400 FPS.
