Break-barrel rifle - Vortex/nitro piston - How it works
The Vortex break-barrel rifle is powered by a gas piston that compresses when you break the rifle. When you pull the trigger, the piston returns to its original position. This makes it more powerful, easier to cock, quieter, and longer-lasting than its older spring-powered counterpart.
You don't need to refill it with gas—the piston is completely sealed.
Break the barrel downward, insert a pellet, and raise the barrel back up. The rifle is now ready to fire. Very simple!
Quattro Trigger
An advanced two-stage trigger available exclusively from Hatsan. It gives you the option of a three-point adjustment to adjust the trigger pull, the position of the first and second stages of the firing cycle, and the distance the trigger travels before the shot is fired. With this custom-built trigger, you can also release finger pressure if the shot cannot be taken during the first stage of the firing cycle. In addition, it is equipped with an extra safety feature in case you accidentally drop it. This system is called “drop safety interlock” and prevents it from firing even when the safety is off.
SAS
In this context, this stands for Shock Absorber System and is a system that reduces vibrations and extends the lifespan of the rifle, optics, and accessories.
TruGlo Fiber Optics
Fiber-optic technology is built into both the front and rear sights. The sights can be adjusted for elevation and windage and are easy to aim with, even for younger shooters.
