GROUNDHOG Backpack – Compact Size, Maximum Functionality

GROUNDHOG is an excellent example of how a compact size doesn’t limit functionality. This small backpack is ideal for short hikes, bike rides, or as an everyday EDC pack.

The spacious main compartment can easily hold not only a hydration bladder via a webbing hanger, but also extra clothing or gear. The pack also features an expandable front pocket with a vertically positioned zipper. The stowable mesh beavertail lets you carry a helmet or wet clothing, keeping them separate from the rest of your gear.

Both sides of the pack feature two zippered pockets with additional mesh bottle holders, stabilized with a compression strap. In addition, both sides have two rows of MOLLE Lite webbing, allowing you to attach extra pouches. The narrower width of the webbing also makes the pack lighter.

The carrying system is based on narrow, padded and contoured shoulder straps, supported by 3D mesh. The same 3D mesh is also used on the rigid, padded back, helping reduce sweating. For better stability, the backpack has minimalist hip and chest straps.

SIZE INSTRUCTIONS

We want to make sure that the clothes you buy really fit you – so they can fulfill their purpose properly. Please take a moment of your valuable time to check the measurement guide and the corresponding size chart to avoid mistakes.

To take the correct measurements, find clothes that fit you well and measure them.

Chest

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge, just below the sleeves.

Waist

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge at the waist.

Sleeve length

While wearing a shirt you like, measure with one arm at your side, from the shoulder seam and along the arm until you reach the desired length. We recommend that the sleeve should reach the base of your thumb (at the wrist).

For jackets with raglan sleeves, such as Stratus® or Cumulus®, sleeve measurements should be taken from the bottom of the collar down to the sleeve.

Inseam

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface. Measure the inseam from the crotch, where the front and back seams meet, to the bottom of the leg.

Pants Length

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface with the outseams along both edges. Be sure to smooth out any wrinkles and excess fabric from the back panel. Measure the distance from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.

Total Length

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the side seams facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the top edge and the bottom edge. For the most accurate result, measure along the side seam.

Waist circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Measure the top part of the skirt (the waistline) from one side edge to the opposite side edge. Then double the result to get the waist circumference.

Hip circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the opposite sides at the hip area (depending on the skirt’s cut, the hips should be approximately 11–14 cm below the top edge of the skirt). Double the result to get the hip circumference.
