Gas with blowback - How it works
The slide and receiver are made of metal, the frame of the gun is polymer like the original. The magazine holds both gas and bullets and is inserted into the gun, you pull the charging handle and the gun is now ready to shoot.
The gun has blowback, which means that the slide recoils with each shot and locks in the rear position when the gun is empty, like the sharp version.
The Glock 42 model is a super compact version that is easy to carry and thanks to a narrow magazine the gun has an extra thin profile, only 24mm. The original version has a magazine capacity of 6 rounds, while this airsoft version holds 13 rounds, which again makes it a small but very effective backup weapon.
