CM028S er Cymas AKS47-replika med underfoldbar kolbe i metall og front i treimitasjon. Med kolben slått inn blir den kompakt nok for CQB, og med full løpslengde fungerer den også på mellomlange hold.
Verdt å merke seg: Kolben og foldemekanismen er i metall, men front og pistolgrep er polymer med trepreg – ikke ekte tre.
Ytterløp, gassblokk, sikter, toppdeksel og kolbebeslag er i metall, mens receiver, pistolgrep og front er i polymer. Innvendig sitter en forsterket V3-gearbox med kort motor og justerbar hop-up. Leverandøren oppgir at faktisk effekt kan avvike med inntil ±10%.
