AW Custom HX2002 4.5mm CO2 – The ultimate choice for dynamic target shooting
AW Custom (Armorer Works) HX2002 in 4.5mm (.177) is a high-performance air pistol built specifically for rapid-fire strings and dynamic competition shooting (Air Action). With its uncompromising black, gold, and red color combination, combined with lightning-fast gas blowback, this pistol stands out in every way.
Shop tip: This is not an ordinary, boring air pistol. The HX2002 is based on the modified “Race Guns” used in IPSC/shooting sports. That means everything from the trigger and extended magwell to the specially textured grip has been optimized so you can shoot as quickly and accurately as possible!
Competition style and extreme stability
Visually, the HX2002 features clear details from professional competitive shooting. The anodized red-and-gold finish against the black slide gives the pistol a high-tech look. Thanks to a total weight of approximately 1070 grams (including the magazine) and an overall length of 223 mm, it sits rock-solid in your hand. The extended 109.9 mm inner barrel helps reduce muzzle rise, ensuring that you quickly reacquire your aim between shots.
The pistol is powered by a standard 12g CO2 cartridge inserted directly into the heavy HX 5.1 magazine. The CO2 system delivers a solid muzzle velocity of around 330 FPS and guarantees consistent pressure for tight groupings on target, even when you empty the magazine at a high rate.
Full-metal blowback and smart features
Every time you pull the trigger, the powerful CO2 blowback system makes the entire metal slide kick back hard, just like on a real firearm. When the magazine is out of BBs, the slide automatically locks in the rear position.
To increase its dynamic potential, the pistol comes complete with an optical sight mount (mounting hardware included in the box). This allows you to easily add a red dot sight later if you want faster target acquisition. The integrated funnel at the bottom of the grip (magwell) helps guide the 30-round magazine into place in a fraction of a second.
Important information about ammunition and operation:
- Ammunition: This pistol uses 4.5mm (.177) steel BBs. It cannot be used with traditional skirted lead pellets.
- Propellant gas: Remember to purchase 12g CO2 cartridges.
- Maintenance: We recommend applying one drop of silicone oil to the tip of every 4th or 5th CO2 cartridge before inserting it, to lubricate the internal seals and extend the pistol’s service life.
