Li-Ion batteries are very energy efficient despite their size. This makes them ideal for airsoft rifles that do not have a lot of battery space. They do not have the so-called "memory" effect that you find with many other types of battery. This means that they can (and should) be charged often and it goes not beyond the quality of the battery in a negative way.
IMPORTANT: Check that your charger can charge Li-Ion batteries - For example this charger !
Note. In order not to reduce the lifespan of the battery, you should charge them often. They self-discharge at around 8% (depending on temperature). It is important that the battery is not completely discharged or overcharged as this will damage the battery cells.
