FX Binoculars - Element Optics scope with illuminated FFP MRAD reticle
TITAN is a large pair of binoculars that lets in plenty of light, provides a good viewing angle and can be adjusted a full 26.2 MRADs at altitude and 14.5 MRADs in width. Perfect binoculars for long distances.
Good quality optics for sharp weapons and air weapons. ED glass and 34mm tube diameter.
The binoculars are made of "aircraft-grade" aluminum and the tool-free adjustment towers are made of stainless steel both outside and inside to prevent wear and tear from regular use.
Element Optics is the sister company of FX Airguns and supplies custom optics for airguns as well as edged weapons. Made by shooters, for shooters.
Here are some elements that make the Element Optics TITAN a good choice when it comes to scopes:
Magnification, Coating, Parallax
A variable magnification that you can easily set from 5x all the way up to 25 times magnification. The 56mm lens is full-multicoat which, combined with the 34mm tube diameter, lets in plenty of light and provides a clear sight picture. The prallax can be adjusted from 10m onwards.
34mm tube diameter - Plenty of light and adjustments!
Enlarged tube and an extra-wide lens of 56 mm mean that you get a lot of light into the binoculars and a sharp and bright sight image. Multicoat lens and high-quality glass provide a sight image without disturbances, even at high magnification.
The enlarged tube diameter of 34mm means that the binoculars can be adjusted more in side and height than others in their class, perfect for long distances!
Here you will find montages that fits!
ED glass - Extra sharp image
Differences in the wavelengths of the light will be visible through binoculars, especially at high magnification. ED glass (Extra-low Dispersion) creates less interference with light waves and provides an even sharper image without blurred colours.
FFP edition (First Focal Plane)
The reticle is an FFP. That is, the reticle size remains unchanged even if you zoom in. When you zoom in, you will therefore zoom in on the reticle as well.
Zero-Stop
A stop mechanism for the click turret that makes it easy to "go back to start" after you've adjusted your sights for a longer shot.
Once you have zeroed the sight, also called "Zero", you can put on a locking ring that stops the turret exactly where you zeroed it, this allows ballistic calculators to be used to help set the sight.
APR "All-Purpose-Reticle" - Illuminated
A tailor-made reticle that covers most needs. The reticle was designed by a group of competition shooters, hunters and plinkers. The reticle should cover most needs without disturbing the sight image.
The scope uses MRAD (Milliradians/MIL), the calculation of this looks like this: A MRAD is 1/1000 of a Radian / A MRAD = 10cm at 100m distance.
So, 1 MRAD extends 10cm at 100m and 100cm at 1000m. To make the adjustments precise, the HELIX sight is divided into 1/10MRAD adjustment, that means that 1-Click at 100m is 1cm. With each click on the turret, the reticle moves 1cm at 100m distance.
Combine the easy turret adjustment with that detailed reticle then you can calculate how many clicks you have to turn the sight.
The scope comes optically zeroed from the factory. You can read more about the reticle in the reticle manual here!
All in all, this is a scope that really delivers and it fits good for shooters who want to do the math but it also suits those who like to keep it simple. The "All Purpose" reticle is easy to use, but can also be used to calculate the shots, you decide for yourself!
ATTENTION! You will need your own mounts that fit like this these!
