The rifle uses 2pcs 12g Co2 cartridges at a time, these are placed in the magazine. You load up to 36pcs 4.5mm BB round balls in the magazine (do not use soft balls, such as lead, use steel or aluminum).
With each shot, the bolt swings back, which causes recoil.
