Borner Mosin Nagant M44 CO2 air rifle
Experience real shooting history with an extremely detailed replica of the legendary M44 carbine from 1944. The Borner Mosin Nagant M44 is a CO2-powered 4.5 mm air rifle designed specifically for shooters who value character, weight, and historical realism. With its solid full-metal construction, smooth bolt action, and included shoulder strap, this rifle delivers a wonderfully relaxed and unhurried shooting experience focused on rhythm and concentration.
Tip from the store: The rifle is made from extremely high-quality imitation polymer (plastic). The finish is so well executed that you have to look closely to find the seam in the plastic—giving you a truly premium feel without the typical cheap plastic feel. This means you get the flawless, classic look of real wood, but with the modern benefits of polymer: it withstands moisture, doesn’t splinter, requires no maintenance, and never cracks in Norwegian conditions! It weighs over 3 kg and the rifle is made entirely of metal! You also get an original sling included, made from sturdy canvas with genuine leather.
Heavy-duty full-metal construction with shiny mechanical bolt
Borner Mosin Nagant M44 delivers muzzle energy of up to 3J (120m/s), making it significantly more powerful and stable than cheaper spring models on the market. Apart from the lifelike stock, the entire rifle is built from solid, heavy metal. The shiny metal mechanical bolt produces a fantastic, distinctive sound and resistance when you pull the bolt back to load each shot in single-action mode. To complete the historical realism, the rifle is equipped with an integrated bayonet made of real metal, mounted on the side of the barrel. The bayonet is, of course, completely blunt and made for decoration only, but it can be folded out exactly like on the original Soviet carbine.
The rifle is powered by a standard 12g CO2 cartridge inserted into the removable metal magazine. The magazine holds 16 4.5mm steel round balls (BBs). The model is also equipped with historically accurate, adjustable open steel sights and a manual mechanical safety for safe and secure handling at the range.
Don’t forget the necessary accessories!
To ensure you get the best experience with your Borner Mosin Nagant M44, we recommend the following:
- Pellets/Ammunition: The weapon exclusively uses 4.5mm steel round balls (BBs). To ensure uninterrupted plinking at the target, we recommend our bulk packs of round balls.
- Propellant/CO2: The rifle requires standard 12g CO2 cartridges. We recommend buying a 25- or 50-pack right away to increase your cart size.
- Maintenance: CO2 gas is ice-cold and dries out internal rubber seals over time. It is essential to apply a drop of silicone oil to the tip of every tenth CO2 cartridge, as well as a little lubricant to the shiny metal bolt for a silky-smooth charging action.
