Airsoft/softgun games are what this section is all about, and here we’ll go through the most popular ones! Airsoft is realistic, true to life, and above all, incredibly fun! It’s for those of you who love getting your blood pumping and enjoy high levels of adrenaline! Always remember to wear goggles and a face mask!
Milsim - Military Simulation
Milsim is based on real-life military operations, and each team usually receives different missions during the game. Players may also be assigned different roles, such as leader, medic, or engineer. Mines, vehicles, and tanks may also be used, and at large events such as Border War in the Czech Republic, helicopters are even used! Border War Milsim is one of the world’s biggest tactical airsoft events and lasts for 50 hours! If you’d like to take part in an event like this but don’t want to travel that far, we recommend Berget-18 in Sweden. This is an event that lasts for over 4 days, with more than 1,500 participants taking part every year! Unfortunately, it isn't possible to buy tickets for 2021, but check out the events and save the dates for 2022!
Sibo - Combat in Built-Up Areas
Adrenaline can quickly run high in Sibo, as this is close-quarters combat where you move in and out of buildings. Teams typically have different missions here, just like in milsim—only this game is played on a much smaller scale!
Speedball
The fastest form of airsoft, lasting between 5 and 20 minutes! Players are divided into two teams, and the game ends when all the players on one team have been eliminated!
Team Deathmatch
One of the most popular games, often ideal for beginners! Players are divided into two teams. If you get shot, you can respawn after at least 1 minute before rejoining the game. The team that has ultimately taken out the most wins!
Capture the flag
Two teams, with one flag placed in each base. The goal is to capture the opponents’ flag and bring it back to your own base. Of course, without getting shot! The first team to get the flag back to its own base wins!
Forest games
Airsoft games in the forest, just as the name suggests! This is a very popular variant, as you can simply gather your group of friends in a suitable area with the landowner’s permission and play! Here, you can play pretty much all the variants described in this article.
Find and destroy the bomb
Yes, sometimes an airsoft bomb is used! The game is played with two teams: one team has two objects to protect, while the other team has a bomb with a timer that counts down! The team with the bomb must find one of the other team’s objects and place the timer/bomb on it.The other team must try to get hold of the bomb and defuse it. The game ends if the bomb/timer goes off on one of the objects, if the other team manages to defuse it, or if everyone on one team is taken out!
President
Here, one player is the president, who must try to reach the marked area. Half of the players are the president’s bodyguards, while the other half must try to “take him out”! If they manage to shoot the president, the game is over and the opposing team wins! If the president manages to reach a marked area, the bodyguards and president win!
Zombie
Here, the goal is not to get infected! The players are divided into two teams: humans and zombies. If you’re shot by a zombie, you become a zombie too! There may be two spots with vaccines/cures on the field that you can give to your teammates before everyone gets infected! The game ends when either all the zombies have been taken out or everyone has turned into zombies!
There are many more ways to play than the ones listed here, and there are also several variations of these! Only your creativity and imagination set the limits for what you can come up with! Airsoft is super social and is a great form of alternative exercise.Want to see what you can play with? We have all the products here!
