The classic 1911 was the American service weapon for over 70 years before being replaced by the Beretta M92 in 1985.
The airsoft model has blowback that gives good recoil since it is full metal, this increases realism.
Under the barrel you will find a 20mm picatinny rail - where you can attach various accessories, such as a laser or lantern. This makes it extra tacticool!

Gas powered Co2 Blowback - How it works
The gun uses 12g of Co2 cartridges as propellant. When you fire the gun, the slide will retract and load another round into the barrel.
When the magazine is empty, the slide is locked in the rear position. This gives extra realism and recoil when you shoot.
To insert the 12g Co2 cartridge, you must loosen the screw under the magazine. Once inserted, tighten the screw hear the cartridge puncture and it no longer leaks air.
This is very advantageous for autumn/winter use, as Co2 often tolerates cold better than normal airsoft gas.
